Gas or Electric?

Well it's a shame but the simple fact of the matter is no one seems to buy gas built in ovens anymore! The new generation of kitchen buyers almost always seem to go for electric.

The problem with a gas oven is that they are more dangerous, but also dont cook evenly throughout the oven. However, some of the older generations argue that if you know what you are doing, this can work to your advantage.

If you are cooking a cake and a pie at the same time, then maybe the pie on top where it's hotter, and the cake underneath where the sponge wont burn because it's a little cooler. With electric ovens this is not possible....
